Thanks for looking

If you're reading this then you'll already know exactly what you're looking at

Please take a couple of minutes to read the description all the way to the end. This is a fully operational machine but not cheap so I'd rather you were fully aware of what you're getting before you make a decision.

This is the legendary Commodore Amiga 600 from 1992. It comes from the very dawn of home computing (but if you had one of these you probably used it mainly for gaming!). This is the limited edition 'Wild, Weird & Wicked' set. All components seem to be included with a massive load of extras!

Nb - the computer in the photos is the one that you'll recieve along with all the accessories. Tested to ensure everything works exactly as it should - it does!

What you'll get...

▪︎  Commodore Amiga 600 computer (1Mb RAM)

▪︎ Power adapter

▪︎ RF TV cable

▪︎ Quickshot joystick

▪︎ Mouse

▪︎ Commodore Works Disks

▪︎ Approx 50 additional disks (mix of games, blanks & demos)

Condition

When we got this we plugged it into an old TV - it switches on and works fine - power comes on, screen looks great, disks load quickly. We tested it with a few disks and they all worked fine. The set comes with 3 mouses (mice?). One works, two don't but these are easy to repair so you can probably get them working (they're original Commodore ones so worth quite a lot!). No weird noises from the adapter so it's running smoothly

Cosmetically, it's in excellent condition. Everything is present, all keys work, all ports are clean and clear. As with all 90's computers, the plastic they used for the keys goes yellow (probably oxidation with the air over the decades? It's unavoidable). I've read that you can get the keys back to white with earbuds and bleach but personally, I don't want to start messing around with something this old which works perfectly fine as it is!

The box itself is still in good condition. There are no rips or tears but as you'd expect, the corners are tatty. Unbelievably, people are selling the empty box for £50! (Yes...Really!!)

Nb - it comes with the original RF TV cable. This will only work if you have an old TV set. You'll need an adapter if you have a modern TV - they're approx £10 on eBay (there are loads of different ways to get this connected - just Google it!)

Pricing

Setting a price for this has been difficult. You can get a broken one which is missing parts for £167 (trending price). The few boxed, complete and working ones I can find have outrageous prices..it's a nice item but at £700 it'll never sell!! I've kept the price at what I feel is more than fair.

Overall, the Amiga 600 has become quite a rare item and it's not often you'll find a boxed, complete and working example with so many extras like this one. These are only ever going to go up in value. Just plug it in and you're good to go!

Feel free to ask any questions. It's not a cheap item so I'm happy to send extra pics or answer any questions - just ask!

Shipped within 24h tracked. It's a large, heavy and delicate item so it will be well padded out before shipping with Parcelforce 48 (hermes/evri are £3 cheaper but we wouldn't want such a rare and expensive item with a good resale value to get "accidentally lost"...)
