This is one of the last proper camcorders Hitachi produced that used tapes before they went digital - so it has all the incremental design features and loads more built on its predecessors. As such - its probably the best tape based model they ever produced!
This is a great little setup for anyone who wants to get started - everything is included, it's been fully tested, everything works exactly as it should. Just turn it on and release that inner Scorsese!!
Rather than me waffle on about how brilliant it is and add pages and pages of technical specs I highly recommend you check some reviews online and see what other owners think - it's a VERY highly regarded model!

Condition
The camcorder in the photos is the one that you'll recieve. As you can see it's in outstanding condition. I suspect that the previous owner only used this on a few occasions. There are absolutely no scuffs or scratches on the casing. All buttons and switches are present and work as they should. I've charged the battery and it seems to still hold charge well although this part I haven't tested to its full extent (I'm not going to sit there for 12 hours filming to see exactly how much charge it still holds!). Anyway, it seems fine but if you need extra batteries they're available on ebay for a few Pounds.
