JONES Electric Sewing Machine Threadlite Model C Runs But Read Description

Please read the description all the way to the end - this machine runs but needs some work!

I'm a professional business seller on here and we've sold loads of vintage sewing machines over the years. I took a punt on this one at the auction as it's a Threadlite Model C which is a very highly regarded model and it's in outstanding cosmetic condition with the case, pedal and accessories included.

Anyway, long story short I got it home, plugged it in, the light came on and it started running straight away! Now the problem! I can't make it stop without unplugging it! I think there may be an issue with the pedal which is making it permanently engaged. However, I'm not an electrical engineer and have never had to fix one of these before so it'll definitely need some attention.

That's the bad news, the good news is that it appears to be running really well (shame I can't make it stop!). The machine in the photos is the one that you'll recieve. As you can see it's in outstanding condition with all components included.

Overall, it's a nice machine - the Model C is renowned for being a workhouse. If you can sort out the electrical issue then you've got a serious bargain on your hands! It goes without saying I'd avoid this unless you know someone who can fix this!
