The Sony CDP-30 was their best mid tier model and still stands head and shoulders above 99% of the modern alternatives available today (not easy to find a modern CD player tbh)

Rather than me waffle on about how brilliant it is there are loads of reviews online and some videos on YouTube if you want to see one in action. Far better that you see what other owners think first so please take a few minutes to check some reviews - It's not one of Sony's flagship models (prices for those start at £500) but this is still a very highly regarded model!

Condition

This is the best part! The previous guardian was a true audiophile and looked after his equipment. This was always kept in a cabinet - it's in more or less mint condition. Everything works exactly as it should. It's been fully tested and there are no faults. Nothing is missing

Overall, it's a superior CD Player in excellent condition. Not for everyone but if you like your music clean you can't really go wrong with this. I'd give it a 9/10.
