This is something different and very special. It's an original 1980's Samsonite Attache. At the time Samsonite briefcases were the global leaders in producing the toughest on the market - this is quite literally bomb-proof! It was hand built in Belgium and made from polycarbonate - a similar material to carbon fibre - modern ones are made in China using thin, flexible plastic. The paradox is that even though this is an older case it'll last much longer than it's modern equivalent!

What makes this one so special is the size. It was obviously designed with one person in mind - the travelling businessman. It's much bigger than a standard briefcase and has a seperate compartment for 'business stuff'. Underneath that there's enough space for a couple of changes of clothes and toiletries (or loads more business stuff if you really love doing business!). Probably the easiest way to describe it would be to say it's a hybrid between a suitcase a nd a briefcase. Not too big to take into a meeting and still look professional, not too small to also accommodate enough extra for an extended stay.

Oh....I don't have the keys for this but if you need a replacement set you can buy them on ebay for about £4 - they're set no. 282.

Condition

Even though it's a 40 year old item it's virtually indestructible so will last for years. It was owned by a stockbroker who worked in the City of London so has some interesting battle scars - the odd scuff here and there. Only ever used to carry papers and his massive brick phone so the inside is very good - perfect for your laptop, a few documents and your lunch!
